An exporter of agricultural products needed to build a sustainable logistics chain for the supply of corn from Russia to Turkmenistan using different modes of transport. Key requirements are reliable connections between transportation stages, control of transshipment across the Caspian Sea, compliance with deadlines and transparent costs.

We have developed and implemented a multimodal transportation scheme with a single point of responsibility:

rail delivery of cargo across Russia to the transshipment port

transhipment and sea transportation through the Caspian Sea with coordination of port operations

subsequent delivery throughout Turkmenistan with control of all stages

provision of rolling stock and transport on each section of the route

planning shipment schedules taking into account seasonality and port infrastructure capabilities

coordination of chain participants and operational control of cargo movement
